06. What does Fram Studio Co Do?

At Fram Studio Company, we feel a strong obligation to storytelling. Storytelling is uniquely human, tracing back to the origins of humanity itself. In an ever-advancing world of technology, we find that experiential storytelling is as human as it gets. To feel the cold wind bite our face, or the heat of an erupting volcano press against our clothes, these moments connect us with our subjects to a degree that no technology ever could. We believe that these lived experiences give an opportunity to share the most authentic story possible.

We specialize in field media production, often working as small, nimble, and modular teams. While there can be a benefit to large crews and in-studio productions, we find that this format works best for the locations and styles of shooting that we work best in. We are often found in some far-flung region of the world, three days into a multi-week sailing trip in the Arctic.  Hardly a place for a 30-person crew. We help you create short-form stories, branded documentaries, social campaigns, product launch campaigns, and more. We integrate with your team from concept to launch, providing everything from pre-production planning, to cinematography to post-production. The flexibility of a small team allows for scaling to match your project needs and budget.
